Meredith McMullen

Singer/Songwriter/ Multi-Instrumentalist

Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Meredith is a singer/songwriter, pianist, and guitarist carving her path in Los Angeles. Splitting her time between her solo project and playing bass in the all-girls pop punk band Pinktastic Plastixx, she is constantly writing, creating, and performing.

She picked up the guitar during the Covid lockdown, unknowingly laying the foundation for her first songs. Her music is deeply influenced by her country roots, a love for storytelling, and an unshakable belief in the mystery of the Universe. Raised on a mix of Johnny Cash, Elvis, Peter, Paul & Mary, and the choral harmonies of church and school, her sound is shaped by both tradition and evolution. Now, her influences are ever-expanding, allowing her the freedom to shift, adapt, and explore without boundaries.

“Meredith”

My personal project of Indie Folk, inspired by personal experiences.

“Give it Time”

Oddly enough, this one came to me in no time. It was as if the Universe whispered every word to me when I was intently plucking the guitar strings. The main message: If I am alive, there is still time.

“Child of the Universe”

My first release that started as a poem. It explores the persistence of seeking out and being light in a dark world.

“Stop the Rain”

Inspired by a past love, this song delves into the effects of mental health and relationships.

“Meredith is a pure joy to work with -she comes into any scene with professionalism & and an uplifting attitude. Not only is she beautiful on the outside ..but she is even more beautiful on the inside. A rare commodity in a city like L.A! She is talented and dedicated to any challenge that comes her way. Learned all of our songs in record time. We did 3 photo shoots together & she shows up camera ready with the perfect outfits. When I met her for the first time I knew I wanted her in my all girl band … mission accomplished.”
